How cool are A Bit Shady parasols?

As yet we haven’t had our parasols UV rated but we find the temperature is remarkably lower under a stylish parasol. The results below give you an indication of how cool they are:

Shady type of Scientific Temperature Experiment:

Using digital thermometer: temperature in direct sun, north NSW Australia on scorching summer day: 49.4 ºC
After 11 minutes under red Monk parasol, thermometer temperature dropped to 36.0 ºC

More temperature results for a range of our parasols in different colours coming soon.
